1. Socrative-Socrative is an assessment tool that can be extremely helpful for the classroom! It has a very clear and clean dashboard, which makes it easy to use! My two favorite parts on this site are the results table and the exit tickets. The results table shows you your class list and the questions with the student answers. What's nice is that it color codes their answers in green or red depending on if they got that question correct. This makes looking at the class' understanding of one concept a breeze! I also like the exit ticket feature. This is a pre-made ticket that the kids fill out that asks how they felt about the lesson, one thing they learned, and a spot to answer a teacher question. That's a quick and easy way to see how the lesson went and if there are any concepts you need to reteach. If this is something you are interested in using, let me know! I'd love to help you set it up!
2. Projectors-Our projectors are probably on of the most valuable tools that we have in our classrooms! To ensure that the projectors and their bulbs last for as long as possible, please be mindful about turning them off when not in use, especially when you leave your classroom. Thank you in advanced!! 3. TweetDeck-Maria showed me this site to get me into the Twitter world. This site allows you to customize a dashboard to only show the information from Twitter that you care about. For example, I have set my dashboard to always show me the newest tweets with #MAC_pride and #12daystwitter, this way I don't miss a single tweet! Tweetdeck does way more than this, like allowing you to schedule tweets, but those features will be for another day. Here is the site and here is a helpful tutorial!
