1. URL Shortener and QR Code Extension-For all of my Chrome users, there is a Chrome Extension that you can download that will give you a shortened URL and QR Code for the website that you are currently on. This is an awesome shortcut to have in your toolbox! Thank you to Maria for showing me this extension! You can find it here.
2. Calculator Trick-Did you know that you can delete a mistake instead of starting over on the calculator app on an iPhone or iPad? I didn't either! My Dad sent me this cool tip the other week and I knew I had to share it! Check out this article that includes a video and some humor! 3. 1. Lost Mode Update-Apple has finally allowed our management system the ability to 'ping' our lost devices! Allowing the devices to make noise will be extremely helpful in finding and returning lost devices! Please keep up the great work of returning misplaced iPads to the Library so that we can get it back to the owner!
2. Assign Tasks in GoogleDocs-You can now assign tasks to specific people within a Google Doc comment. This will leave a notification for the person until they mark the task as complete. This is perfect for team notes when you need to assign tasks to others. The students could also use this when they are collaborating on a project together. 3. Kahoot Advanced-If you're ready to take your Kahoots to the next level, check out this Google Doc about the different types of games and how to use them. Keyboard Tip: Command + K will allow you to create a link. You can either highlight the word you would like to link and then use the command or you can simply use the command and it will input the link where your cursor is. |
