1. Flipgrid-Flipgrid had some recent updates! Two of my favorites are adjusting the playback speed when watching student videos and sorting submissions by student names! Check out all of the updates here!
2. Offline Mode-If you happen to be traveling with questionable WiFi and you have some work to do, try offline mode in any of the Google products. This mode allows you to view and edit any of your Google files without being connected to the internet! The directions are attached below. 3. Fonts in Google-If you're like me and you enjoy a good font, have you checked out all of the font options that Google has to offer? If not, head to the "More Fonts" option in a doc, slide, sheet, etc. to customize your font list. You can add and subtract the fonts that appear on your menu.

1. Mojave & iPad OS 13 Features-With the updates to your laptops and iPads come new features! Here is a quick presentation that I made to highlight some of my favorites. A reminder that students will be able to update their iPads on Friday and should do so at home. 2. Grading Periods in Schoology-With the changes before the break please make sure that you are choosing Trimester 2 and not Quarter 2 (if you have a trimester class) when creating assignments and assessments. I am working with Schoology to see if we can make the correct quarter or trimester the default terms. I’ll keep you posted! 3. Sharing Google Slides in Present Mode-You may have noticed that one of the ways the 12 Days of Visible Learning was shared was in the presentation mode. This mode is a great way to share interactive slides with your class because it encourages clicking on links to navigate around instead of clicking through the thumbnails on the side. To get the correct share link, make sure that you have updated the share settings to match your activity. Then delete the end of the URL, starting at "Edit." Once you have deleted the end of the URL, add "present."
